Tree pruning
A basic arboristic measure aimed at improving treetop conditions or improving a tree’s stability. We perform all the necessary types of pruning: establishing, maintenance and special.
Safety bonding
To prevent a treetop breaking apart or falls of broken branches, we install preventive flexible bonds made of synthetic materials in the treetop. In case flexible bonds cannot be applied due to the tree’s condition (unstable pressure forks), we install fixed, pre-tensioned bonds, either drilled or sole-plated.
Quasi-natural tree doctoring
A set of measures for senescent (old) trees, involving special treetop pruning aimed at stabilising the tree and promoting its regeneration, and support to tree colonisation by accompanying organisms. We remove less vital peripheral treetop areas and promote vital growth in the lower parts of the treetop and along the trunk, including basal branches. Stable necrotic branches or parts of them can be left in the treetop. Our doctoring tries to avoid leaving behind “artefacts” to make the tree appear as natural as possible. We try to leave the wood matter left after the pruning close to the doctored tree (either whole or chipped) to not disrupt the natural circulation of nutrients in the place. This demanding type of doctoring should primarily be preferred with memorial trees and old avenues in the country.
Memorial tree management
We perform memorial tree inspections and management plans for areas. We perform both standard and specific interventions on memorial trees, consisting in appropriate pruning types, static treetop securing, and any other specialised interventions as required. The purpose is to provide stability, improve traffic safety of trees, promotion of their physiological vitality, and extending their lifespan. We put an emphasis on the exceptional ecological, esthetical and cultural functions performed by these trees.
Tree cutting under difficult conditions
We perform cutting of problematic trees using an elevator platform as well as progressive cutting while climbing into the treetop and lowering the cut portions using specialised equipment.
Branch chipping
Disposal of organic waste generated using chipping machines with a daily output of up to 20 m3 of chips and capable of handling wood matter up to 15 cm thick. Using a self-propelled chipping machine, we can crush wood waste even in inaccessible places.
Stump milling
Removal of tree stumps with no diameter restriction, typically down to 20 cm below ground (but we can go deeper). The place left after a stump has been milled can easily be covered with paving or a new lawn.
Building site tree protection
Design and execution of tree protection during construction work, including technical details of contact of structures with trees, pursuant to ČSN 83 9061 – Protection of trees, stands and vegetation areas during construction work. The requirements, methods, scopes and duration of protective measures are chiefly defined by the condition of the existing trees as well as the type, scope and duration of the construction work.
Transplantation of grown trees
Method proposals and executions of transplantation of trees colliding with planned construction using specialised equipment.
